At the end of September 2010, when subtracted to the negligence of its former owner, Augustine was a donkey: a wary equine who had been chained for 5 years, and fed only on account of his possibility of becoming eventually a filling for ravioli.
We don't know what was the reason for our decision of taking him home with us but we are certain that Augustine knows, since he placed himself at the centre of our world from the very beginning. A world that any visitor to the house can enter getting in immediate and intimate touch with his secret ways of communication.
That is why we can call Augustine our philosopher, having made of our arrival point, an actual starting point.
Now Augustine moves freely with his girlfriend Prassede in the woods below Acquaementa conscious of having conquered us and sure of conquering our future visitors.
Acquaementa has three double bedrooms decorated with colours that recall the fruits of its territory
